Updates! BlindMan and Gameplay System
BlindMan is now updated with all his moves and specials and supers. YAY.
Also Gameplay System has been decided on. It is a good idea to check that out first before heading over a respected character. Which as of right now is only BlindMan.

Straight from SnF, what I have already made
SO. I had this idea going around in my head for a while. I have always wanted to make a 2-D fighting game like in the spirit of Street Fighter, DarkStalkers, Guilty Gear, etc... However, the hardest part about making them (aside from animating everything) is coming up with good characters and character design's...
I said fuck it, I want to use the characters that are in the SnF OC tourneys.
So yeah. I plan on starting this project this summer once uni is out. I have been looking through the archives and I have come up with a list of characters that were made that could fit and an idea of how they could fight:
(DISCLAIMER: I AM GOING TO USE FIGHTING GAME JARGON. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.)

From SnF KickAssery 1:
Blindman: Of course he would be in here. I was thinking that he could be some kind of shenanigans based character. Since in the comics made by Knight he doesn't really enter conflict physically, this seems kind of right. (CREATED BY KNIGHT)
Gary: Keep-away, zoning based character. (CREATED BY ME.)
ROCK GOD: He seems like a mix between rush-down and standard gameplay. The fact that he can spawn the weapons is interesting and the combos would be awesome. Also winning pose is totally a guitar solo like I-NO from Guilty Gear. (CREATED BY BEN.)
Jake Teller: Why do I get the feeling he should be trap set-up of some kind? He should also throw pens. Yeah.(CREATED BY KELSO.)
Lars: I was thinking more on the side of slower-heavy hitter. He seems like he is built like that. Though honestly he is pretty ambiguous to start. Right now, unsure. (CREATED BY PIE)
Prince: OH GAWD he's pure rushdown. NO brainer here. (CREATED BY LEETMUFFIN.)

Claire: A rush-down grappler. I have this feeling that she would be pretty good.(CREATED BY LEETMUFFIN)
Frederick: Standard type character. Has a good mix. Would be an all-around character for sure.(CREATED BY ME.)
HADES XII: This is interesting considering that he is slow and tall, yet his power is very trap-ish. I can imagine him throwing seeds that sprout after a button is released. Would be very cool. The whole thing with the seeds losing health is also interesting. Perhaps ammo and if you go past it, you start to lose health? (CREATED BY MR. SQUISHY.)
Theta: First off, Geoff's other characters really are out of porportion for an actual character. Summoning special moves can fix that though. As for Theta himself, he could be rushdown.(CREATED BY GEOFF)
Elisabeth: Well, she pretty much fits the standard balanced type character. Her special could be a super-mode where the dress is blowing smoke and stuff as she fights. (CREATED BY KELSO)
13: Heavy-Hitter/ sytle changing. Not for sure on 13. He could always have the maul out or he could pull it in and out depending on what stance he is in.(CREATED BY TEKKACTUS)

Current Roster Count: 12.
So if anyone has any input, I would greatly appreciate it.
This is a personal project, I have no intention on trying to sell it or whatever, if anyone has any problems with me using their characters for some reason, just tell me. When I have the time I will post up a list of moves ideas for the characters.

Welcome to Forumite Fight
Hello all, this is the blog where I will be keeping track of all progress I make on the 2-D fighting game Forumite Fight. This is only a project name. I do not know if I will actually keep it. Huzzah. I will begin the creation of this game as soon as I get back to my house for the summer. So. In about a week and a half. Till then. I shall post what I already have made.
